Mitre 10 envisioned a captivating concept – a 'Kiwi Tree Hut' that would not just be a play area but a memorable experience for visitors. With engaging elements, a slide, climbing area, and creatively shaded tree branches, the concept took shape as an aluminium-framed masterpiece with dye sublimation print. At OneFrame, we embrace the challenge of moving beyond straight lines, and our Organa Fabric Tension System became the key to realizing the desired shape and form of the tree branches – lightweight yet incredibly durable.

Our role extended beyond manufacturing; OneFrame was entrusted with providing the technical design expertise needed to bring this imaginative concept to life. We meticulously crafted the frame and applied fabrics to ensure a practical fit that seamlessly aligned with the design intent.

The result? Not only does the aluminium tree branch create a visually stunning feature, but it also serves a dual purpose. In the bustling playground environment, it functions as an acoustic solution, enhancing the overall experience. What's more, the lightweight nature of our solution made installation a breeze, ensuring that the 'Kiwi Tree Hut' became a reality with ease.
