About the
Professional

FIBONACCI INTERIOR DESIGN was founded by FIONA WILSON in 2005, operating out of Wellington and later Sydney.

Currently based in Auckland, Fiona has accumulated a wealth of experience in the interiors and furniture industry having not only run her own business but also managed the flagship store of a major international furniture brand for some years. Examples of her work have appeared in a number of New Zealand and Asia-Pacific interior magazines.

With a bachelor's degree in music and mathematics, a diploma of design and decorating as well as an NKBA endorsed diploma of kitchen design, Fiona brings a unique fusion of creativity and attention to fine detail to every project she undertakes. Having personally experienced home renovations, relocations and empty nesting she understands client priorities whatever age or stage of life.  This experience has reinforced the belief that interior spaces should be designed with flexibility to cope with potential future change in lifestyle or circumstance. Fibonacci Interior Design values the integrity of original design and strives to support the local design community as well as source from innovative international suppliers. Fiona is a member of The Designers Institute of New Zealand (DINZ).

Our philosophy is simple - quality of life is enriched when we work and play in an aesthetically pleasing, highly functional space.
Every project we undertake is underpinned by these principles: Quality, longevitiy, functionality, personality.
