This 1960s home was in desperate need of a makeover. The décor was tired, and overshadowed the great bones of this classic style beach property. While the floor plan essentially stayed the same, internal extending and re-jigging were required. The spec was high, allowing for custom-made cabinetry and Carrara marble stone benchtops; the look is modern but kept classic with black fixtures. I love the way we enhanced space through the internal and external glass balustrades – the result is seamless, blurring the lines between indoors and out, it is minimalist yet totally embraces the coastal vibe.
