O'marche New Quay

O'marché (au marché in french) means to market. Being the first commercial tenancy to open at Docklands Melbourne, this compact supermarket needed to be sophisticated and attractive to the new surrounding residential tenants. The concept was to create a French bistro style atmosphere with window seats and timber blinds. The timber slats pattern was carried all through the tenancy to make it warmer. The tenancy comprised groceries, fresh fruit and vegetable, liquor store, tattslotto and post office; a cosmopolitan convenience store.
