Poolside Daybed Project

Special birthday celebrations were being planned and to ensure the scene was set for the event an exceptional landscape garden and poolside renovation was undertaken. This included the creation of a new daybed poolside and custom made bench seating, and new cushions.
Tropique assisted with styling, design advice and the making of the daybed, which needed to be very functional, hardy, incredibly plush with comfort in a premium tropical resort style. Stunning outdoor fabrics were chosen, the measurements completed and confirmed to builders specifications, inclusive of hinging and velcro placement. As the daybed was to be left outside (and poolside) it was essential that a quick drying outdoor foam was used. Using a quick drying outdoor foam with a Sunbrella fabric ensures the longevity of the fabric.

3Beaches Sunbrella fabrics are designed in Australia and milled in the US by Sunbrella solution dyed acrylic fibre, have a 5 year anti fade warranty, are water, stain and mould resistant.

In addition to the custom made outdoor daybed and outdoor scatter cushions, a selection of co-ordinating outdoor cushions from the Tropique ready made collection, Caribbean Holiday (original Tommy Bahama and European Verde Stripe fusion) were placed on the new bench seating.
