The design is a play between shelter versus outlook, and solids versus voids, aiming to maximise sunlight while maintaining privacy. It features excellent indoor/outdoor flow, low maintenance materials, and accentuated views, including 2 stories, 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a double garage with extra storage.

The concept integrates two contrasting forms: a solid, anchored sleeping area embedded in the hill, and a floating protective shell over the living areas below. This results in a pre-cast concrete 'bunker' inspired by Wellington's bunkers, with a modern angular roof that frames stunning views of Wellington Harbour.
