Public realm upgrades in Mercury Lane shaping a safer, more vibrant, and people-focused urban space.
The project enhances pedestrian and cycling connections around Mercury Lane, transforming the precinct into a safer and more welcoming gateway to the station and the Karangahape Road neighbourhood ahead of the City Rail Link (CRL) opening.
We delivered the complete streetscape and infrastructure upgrades for the project which involved site establishment and traffic management within one of Auckland's busiest urban corridors. Our scope included earthworks and new paving, landscaping, lighting, and the installation of artwork and street furniture.
