"A Reborn Contemporary Classic"

Located along a treelined street in Roseville, this major alterations and additions to a Californian Bungalow looked to provide the perfect family home for modern-day living. The renovations include the reconfiguration of the existing residence for open plan living with the addition of private spaces on the 2nd level.

The aim is to respect the character of the existing dwelling, by locating the extension to one side of the existing roofline to reduce its visual impact from the street.

Our proposal aimed at improving the thermal performance of the dwelling through introducing a large void with a glass roof to accommodate for the Northerly aspect, allowing it to reach into the living areas located towards the South.
