After it was badly damaged in the Kaikoura earthquake, construction company A J Scott was tasked with reviving this heritage homestead located at the foothills of Waiau, North Canterbury. At 800 square metres it was a sizeable project and took over 18 months to complete the renovation.

About the
Professional

David Baird is a highly experienced commercial photographer, having worked in the photography industry for nearly two decades prior to starting his own business in 2007. Based in his Christchurch studio, he also works with many businesses across New Zealand, photographing people, products and buildings.

David loves taking pictures of commercial architecture, and he has worked with a broad range of clients in the construction, real estate, and design industries. He has an eye for detail and approaches every photo shoot with the same high level of care and professionalism required to produce exceptional images.

David is personable and easy to work with, happily working alongside clients to capture their vision, but equally comfortable being left to explore his creative side.

When not taking photos, David is a family man, basketballer, artist, occasional surfer, or can be found reading a good book.
