Situated on the plains beyond Invercargill, this home draws inspiration from the rural Southland vernacular, refined with a contemporary edge. A single gable form clad in corrugated steel anchors the design, housing the living spaces beneath its clean, angular roofline. Alongside it, a low-slung garage extends, creating contrasting, but balanced modern forms. Warm timber is inset from the light corrugate cladding, adding texture, depth, and a natural counterpoint in the palette.
