The courtyard itself creates a space only accessible from inside the house which makes for the perfect outdoor area protected from the at times harsh Central Otago weather but also creating shade and tranquility for those epic bluebird days.  The house is slightly elevated creating a floating effect with minimal impact on the surrounding landscape and existing trees.
