Rogan Nash Architects presents "Something New," a project completed in 2024 that beautifully blends heritage with modernity. This Mt Eden renovation was carefully crafted to reflect the distinct cultural roots of its owners, creating a home deeply connected to Aotearoa. The bungalow renovation seamlessly combines past and present, honouring tradition while embracing modern family life and values. 

Original elements like timber floors and ceiling roses were thoughtfully restored, harmoniously integrating with contemporary design elements. The addition introduces a serene, contemporary palette inspired by the Aotearoa landscape, featuring natural materials and muted tones. A stepped floor plan defines distinct zones within the open-plan living space, while custom joinery and built-in seating enhance warmth, functionality, and intimacy.
