The interior design respects the essence of the original home, while striking a balance between a new pared-back aesthetic that allows the existing features to shine. South Yarra Residence is a modern and timeless home.
For Kestie Lane Studio it was a very personal and considered design journey from the very first meeting with the client.
The clients were captivated by the original heritage home, it was important for them to preserve the unique character while also bringing a contemporary sensibility to the design. A key part of the brief for the family was to create a home that could accommodate a growing family but also maintain an honest and thoughtful design language.
