A garden for family fun, swimming, relaxing and playing. The garden had some of the elements in place but it needed a revamp to bring it up to date and connect everything as a cohesive whole. The pool surfaces were renovated and new re-configured decking and fencing made the area far more family friendly and easy care. Changing the pool gate position and adding glass fencing on one side and wrapping around a corner dramatically changed the relationship of the pool with the garden. Eye catching paving in wide strips connect all areas seamlessly. This layout made sense of all of the multi directional travelling options and pulled everything together.

The lawn was lifted at the rear and a level playing surface created. New fencing, planting, seating, vege beds and storage has completed the experience for the family.

What the client had to say...

"Donna was very thoughtful in how she tied our garden, pool and dining areas together. Her plant selection was excellent and the right plants were clearly picked as they are thriving! The process was fairly straightforward and Donna was excellent at communicating and taking on board any changes or requests. There were a few last minute adjustments and Donna was right on top of it. Thanks Donna for a gorgeous garden and outdoor living space!"

Turning Ideas Into Gardens – It All Starts With Seed

At Seed we believe that gardens are for living. We love working with clients to change how they live, relate and connect in the garden, improving families lives by having a garden that works for them. It gives me great joy and satisfaction to see how the garden experience for our family of clients is transformed and to be able to share my expression in the form of beautiful living spaces for people.

Gardens are dynamic, evocative, touchable spaces. Change your environment and you will be transported. We aim to provide value to our clients by guiding them to visualise and achieve a garden they absolutely love.

Seeds' director and principal designer is Donna Stanish. Donna graduated from Unitec in 1999 with a Diploma in Landscape Design and has been designing gardens for private homes and commercial clients while gaining knowledge and experience ever since.

A hands-on passionate gardener, I have been very fortunate to travel and visit cultural and historical gardens throughout the world.
