The Island Bay School - Block A & C Facade Upgrade, completed on 1st October 2023, featured the application of Duralloy +Plus Solid Scoria Matt and Pioneer Red Matt to the school’s exterior cladding. Subcontracted by Tararua Roofing, fabricated by Metric Sheet Metals, the powder coating was done by Powder Coating Services, an accredited Dulux powder coater, to provide both a durable and visually striking finish.

With a total coated area of 28.08 square meters, the Duralloy +Plus Solid range powder coating ensures long-term protection against the harsh New Zealand weather, while maintaining the aesthetic integrity of the school’s facade. The contemporary colours selected were designed to complement the surrounding environment while ensuring the cladding's resilience against fading and corrosion over time.

The warranty for the coating was issued on 30th October 2023, guaranteeing the durability and performance of the powder coating. This project highlights the exceptional quality of the Duralloy +Plus Solid range for exterior applications in educational and public sector buildings, offering both protection and a modern appearance for years to come.
