THE CHALLENGE

This home is currently under construction.

When I met with my clients, they had lost all hope of getting the plans completed from the previous designers, who did not make the experience easy.

I picked up the project and designed a concept within a week and my clients fell in love with it instantly.

THE SOLUTION

We designed a very modern home for our clients with a minimalist style and a stylish sleek roofline while capturing the views of Raglan Harbour from every directions! Privacy was a must for our clients, as well as creating an outdoor-indoor flow. One of the joinery unit selected was 10m long, this entirely open the space to outside from the living.

‍The cladding used was a low maintenance aerated concrete, we also used a small amount of cedar and lots of glass. This home was carefully designed to become a timeless statement, a 'stand proud' white residence on the Okete hillside.
