Reece Warnock's design incorporates the original structure with a modern three bedroom home and workplace with contemporary features in a series of small pavilions.
From the office and hallway a large glazed window looks into the historic workspace, and interior access to the blacksmith is gained via the kitchen and open plan living and dining areas, ensuring ongoing use of the 120-year-old workshop by family and clients. 
What's more the community has relished the project, gifting historic mementoes for display.
