Three Peaks

LX Architecture recently completed the ‘Three Peaks’ project in rural NZ. The cabins are divided into three spaces. The first includes a bedroom, walk in wardrobe and large accessible ensuite. The centre cabin contains the kitchen, dining and living. The third includes a bedroom, walk in wardrobe, small ensuite and laundry which is accessed from the breeze-way. The cabins were designed with a tight budget in mind and can be removable/relocatable and repurposed. The clients brief strived to create a space where they could remain caretaking but with privacy and separated living spaces in mind.
