This project involved reimagining an iconic waterfront property that housed one of the last remaining original Auckland Tramcars and turning it into a subtle and relaxed holiday home.
The section boasts stunning views across the water to Ti Point and Omaha and is well-sheltered by neighbouring properties and hills, making it a warm and inviting suntrap.
The design features clean lines and minimal clutter, with particular focus paid to the Urbinos Concealed Jamb System, negative skirting, square stopping, and recessed curtain tracks, which were key architectural features of the project as well as plenty of internal wall space was available to house the artist's work.
Along with easy living and open space functionality, the clients had a vision for the design features they wanted to highlight. Private outdoor living was achieved through louvered windows and roof, which featured around a large Engle Master Fire and stunning views. The cosy and relaxed colour scheme pallet completes the project.
