Vincent Barracks
Vincent Barracks needed to be rebuilt to provide a better quality of housing for the airforce’s young recruits. Teak Construction Group built a two storey concrete structure with linear weatherboard cladding, including high quality insulation and interior fit outs.
Before we began construction we discovered significant asbestos ground contamination, and asbestos throughout the building which had to be completely removed. Teak Construction Group did so safely without delaying the project.
Once completed the new buildings provided a healthy, comfortable home for recruits that will stand the test of time.
