Waiata House
Located in the heart of Remuera, The Waiata house is home to a three-generation family. Remodeled to fit their ever-changing lifestyle the fit-out develops and extends upon the existing architectural form creating a contemporary family home that is functional, as well as being warm and inviting.
The house boasts an expansive backyard that spans beyond the pool area at the end of the house which the new alteration centres upon. The exterior of the house is re-clad in brick, cedar & lightweight aluminum panels, accentuating the extended gable volumes on the Northern elevation. Internal spaces on the upper floor are reconfigured to fit an additional bathroom and two master ensuites.
