Here at Dimension we work with a number of different architects and for this project we were engaged by James from James Valentine Architects to build his personal Bach out in the Waikari Valley. The site has an amazing setting with extensive views over the valley and these have been framed by a number of full height windows along the northern side of the building. 

The Bach was constructed out of SIPS panels/ or structurally insulated panels. These are made in a factory and then delivered to site where we install them. The panels themselves offer a very well insulated and airtight building envelope which is fast to erect. This form of construction is common in passive homes and is great for producing energy efficient and sustainable buildings. Here we are passionate about passive construction and delivering sustainable building solutions to our clients and will be doing a lot more of this style of building in the future.
