Herschel’s Solution

Herschel’s slim, ceiling-mounted electric infrared panels were installed to provide targeted, radiant heat. The white panels blend seamlessly into the bright, airy interior, complementing the clean architectural lines and birch plywood finishes. By mounting the heaters on the ceiling, valuable floor and wall space was preserved, and installation was completed rapidly with minimal disruption.

Sustainability & Performance

Aligned with the project’s eco-conscious goals, Herschel’s panels support sustainable living by minimizing energy waste and carbon emissions. Their durability, low maintenance, and compatibility with renewable energy sources make them ideal for green builds. The heaters complement passive design elements such as sedum roofing and Yakisugi cladding by maintaining thermal comfort without relying on fossil fuels.

Conclusion

The Pool House demonstrates how Herschel infrared heating delivers effective, efficient, and aesthetically integrated warmth in modern architectural environments. By focusing on occupant comfort, design subtlety, and energy efficiency, Herschel provides a future-ready heating solution for contemporary living spaces.

Select XLS Series

The Herschel Select XLS isn’t just a heater but a discreet luxury. Designed for modern living, any panel from the series will blend seamlessly while you feel the gentle, sun-like warmth wrapping around you.

Sleek, frameless, and whisper-thin, the Select XLS elevates any room with its minimalist elegance. Whether mounted on the ceiling or wall, it disappears into the architecture, freeing up floor space and letting your design shine. This panel delivers powerful, responsive heat that warms people and surfaces directly, not the air. That means no dusty drafts, no cold spots, just pure, natural comfort.

We think the infrared heating is fantastic. It warms the space quickly and efficiently, and we love the discreet design. Having a ceiling-mounted heater has also enabled us to free up valuable floor space.
