Based on Landmark Homes Taupō’s beautiful Kinloch Showhome, the architecture draws inspiration from the environment, ensuring the home feels like a natural extension of the landscape. Its modern exterior features vertical board and batten cladding and a sleek, flat roofline.
Spanning a generous 242m² floor area, the layout connects intimately with the outdoors through three distinct alfresco living spaces, allowing you to enjoy nature year-round.
“The design is all about simplicity and elegance,” says Steven. “We wanted to create a versatile but beautiful Ready to Build plan that could go on just about any site, whether it’s south-facing, north-facing, in a rural setting, or overlooking water views.”
The U-shaped layout adds to the home’s practical appeal creating a central atrium that connects indoor and outdoor spaces. This design maximises natural light while offering a sheltered, private space to sit outside. Two additional outdoor areas allow the homeowners to enjoy the sun throughout the day, providing optional spaces for enjoying fresh air and relaxing outside.
FUNCTIONAL ELEGANCE
The interior showcases masterful minimalism, with an open-plan living area at its heart.
