Altro, a global leader in flooring innovation, is excited to unveil Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free, a quick-fit, sustainable alternative to our industry-leading Altro Stronghold 30 safety flooring. This new adhesive-free range combines Altro's specialist kitchen safety flooring with cutting-edge technology to deliver unparalleled sustainability, cost and time- saving benefits without compromising safety.
Designed exclusively for commercial kitchens and food production areas, Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free is a timesaving, cost-effective alternative to Altro’s traditional glued-down kitchen safety flooring. With an estimated 35% reduction in installation costs and a 50% faster installation time, it is an excellent choice for businesses looking to maximise efficiency and cost savings. Altro's adhesive-free floors can be welded and walked on the same day and installed over sound and secure surfaces, such as tiles and flaky paint, providing extra savings on preparation time and labour costs. Its integrated Damp-Proof Membrane (DPM) allows fast and hassle-free fitting, even over existing flooring or fresh concrete.
Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free is a sustainable choice, with a reduced carbon footprint and minimal installation waste. It contains recycled materials and features a bioplasticizer made from renewable resources, further reducing environmental impact. At the end of its life, the product can be reused or over 95% of it can be recycled through a Recofloor collection point.
Safety remains a top priority for Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free, as it upholds the hygiene and cleaning standards of the traditional glued-down version. Proudly carrying HACCP certification and Altro's highest rating for sustained slip resistance (P5/R12) for the lifetime of the product, this flooring ensures safety in areas where spills of grease, oil, and fats are common. With its substantial 3mm thickness, it provides comfort underfoot for those who stand all day and helps to reduce noise in busy kitchens, lowering noise levels by up to 10dB.
Altro Stronghold 30 adhesive-free can be integrated with our Whiterock wall protection system to create a watertight surface that prevents bacteria growth. Including Altro Easyclean technology in our adhesive-free products makes cleaning easier; with additional scratch and abrasion resistance, our floors look good for longer and maintain their slip resistance. Our advanced cleaning technology also reduces bacteria and mould growth, meaning better infection control and a safer, healthier environment.
