Introducing Nero’s New Finishes: Rome Bronze & Tumbled Antique Brass

From Two New Finishes to a More Complete Design System
The introduction of Rome Bronze and Tumbled Antique Brass is about more than simply adding two new colours to the Nero range.
Both finishes are now available across the Mecca and Serenity Collections, extending across tapware, shower systems, bathroom accessories and other related products. This gives designers greater flexibility to create a more consistent material language across different areas of a space.

As Nero continues to expand its finish offering, designers have access to a broader palette — from classic, understated metallic tones to finishes with greater depth, warmth and natural character. Each finish can respond to a different architectural language, material palette and overall atmosphere.
For architects and interior designers, a wider finish selection is not only about visual variety. More importantly, it creates greater flexibility throughout the design process.
Within a project, tapware, showers, accessories and other metal details often appear across multiple areas. When these elements can be connected through consistent or complementary finishes, the overall space feels more resolved and cohesive.
It also allows designers to consider tapware and hardware as part of the material palette from the early stages of a project, alongside stone, timber, tiles, cabinetry and other architectural finishes, rather than treating tapware as a separate element added at the end.

Nine Finishes, More Design Freedom
With the introduction of Rome Bronze and Tumbled Antique Brass, Nero’s core collections now offer an even broader range of finish options, with the Mecca Collection now available in nine finishes.
Nine finishes mean more than simply having more colours to choose from.
Every architectural project has its own combination of materials, light, colour and spatial character. The same product design can take on a completely different expression depending on the finish selected.
Darker finishes can add definition and structure to a space. Warm metallic tones can create a softer relationship with natural stone and timber, while classic metallic finishes can complement more neutral and minimal interiors.

A broader finish palette also gives architects and designers greater flexibility across residential, hospitality, commercial and multi-residential projects, allowing them to find the right aesthetic without compromising on product form or function.
When the same finish can be carried across multiple product categories, it also becomes easier to create visual continuity between tapware, showers, accessories and other hardware details throughout the space.

Finishes as Part of Architectural Design
For Nero, a finish is not simply the final decorative layer of a product.
It is part of the product design itself, and an important connection between the product and the architecture around it.
Rome Bronze brings depth, warmth and a more architectural presence, while Tumbled Antique Brass offers a softer, more natural character with a distinctive sense of warmth and individuality.
Together with Nero’s existing finish palette, these new additions create a more complete design system, giving architects and designers greater freedom to respond to different materials, colours and project requirements.

The introduction of Rome Bronze and Tumbled Antique Brass is not only an expansion of Nero’s finish palette — it is another step in giving architects, designers and homeowners greater freedom to shape spaces in their own way.
