Our partner company ATL Designer Lighting is showcasing a new feature collection: Luna by Form 53 — a sculptural lighting range inspired by the quiet beauty of natural forms.

Handcrafted in New Zealand from sustainably sourced bamboo, the Luna Range reflects designer Gus Leen’s philosophy of symmetry, rhythm, and balance.

By day, each piece reads as a refined sculptural object. By night, Luna transforms, diffusing a soft ambient glow and casting delicate, nature-inspired shadows that enhance atmosphere and intimacy within a space.

The design draws inspiration from the form of a falling water droplet, expressed through a precisely crafted 24-piece array of curved bamboo uprights.

Each component contributes to both the structure and the layered shadow play that defines the collection. A discreet Halycon LED light source is integrated using Form 53’s custom stainless steel mounting system, ensuring the light remains hidden and the purity of the form is preserved.

The Luna Range includes floor lamps, table lamps, and pendant lights — each format carrying the same sculptural language while offering flexibility across residential, hospitality, and architectural interiors.

As a former ECC Lighting Awards finalist, Gus Leen’s work continues to be recognised for its material integrity, craftsmanship, and design-led approach. The Luna Range is a thoughtful example of how lighting can bring warmth, depth, and organic rhythm into modern interior spaces.
