There is a shift happening in bathroom design. The vanity is no longer simply somewhere to store toiletries, it’s becoming a considered piece of furniture in its own right.

Designed in New Zealand, Sora brings together sculptural form, generous storage and thoughtful detailing in a vanity that feels more like a centre piece of the room, rather than traditional bathroom cabinetry.

It’s design has already received recognition, with Sora being named as a Top 8 Finalist in the Furniture Category of the Best Design Awards NZ.

Wall hung vanities have an undeniable appeal. Their floating form creates a sense of space and creates a bathroom that feel open and light. But achieving that clean look can come at the expense of storage.

Sora was designed to solve that problem. There are no unnecessary hardware or traditional handles. Instead, the storage is integrated into the vanity itself.

The most distinctive feature of Sora is its continuous vertical fluting. Rather than stopping at the front of the vanity, the fluted ash timber veneer wraps around the curved end panels, creating a beautiful, seamless transition from the drawer to the sides.

Each end conceals a full height push-to-open cabinet, providing generous additional storage.

Inside the main drawer, you also have a hidden makeup drawer which makes the most of the space around the plumbing and provides more storage for smaller bathroom essentials.

The Sora Vanity is available in five ash timber veneer finishes and 4 sizes, 900mm, 1200mm, 1500mm and 1800mm, making it east it easy to find a configuration suited to your bathroom.

For smaller spaces, Code Interiors designed the Sora Pedestal. The Sora Pedestal features hidden storage that is cleverly integrated behind the curved timber form. Unlike traditional pedestal basins, where storage is lost, Sora makes use of the inside space, keeping everyday essentials neatly tucked away.
