Re-paint Your Roof to Protect Your Home and Keep It Looking Good

Your home’s exterior is its first line of defence against the Auckland weather. A well-maintained, beautifully painted roof adds value, has great street appeal and helps protect your home, keeping it in tip-top condition.

Ready to Maintain and Paint Your Roof?

Protect your roof against corrosion, ensuring that issues like leaks and rust are identified early and taken care of quickly. If your exterior paintwork has started to fade, warp, crack or peel, it’s time to repaint.

We Can Paint Most Types of Roofs Including:

  • Galvanised iron
  • Zincalume
  • Decramastic tiles
  • Clay, terracotta and concrete tiles
  • Colorsteel

A Top Quality Paint Will Increase the Life of Your Roof

That’s why we use Resene’s specialist range of painting systems for roofs. Our team will recommend the best products for your particular roof including a primer that to help prevent corrosion, adhere to the old coating or bare metal and act as a base for topcoats.

How Much Will It Cost?

Several factors impact the cost of painting your roof. These include the size and type of roof, its current condition and the materials to be used.

Resene Has Two Topcoat Options for Your Roof

Resene Hi-Glo Acrylic is made with UV resistant pigments and tough polymers to give a durable, long life and high gloss finish. Colours from the Hi-Glo roof chart are optimised for durability and UV resistance.

When choosing a roof colour, make sure it works with your entire exterior colour scheme as well as with the environment and any nearby buildings and structures. While any Resene colours can be used, we recommend selecting roof colours from the Resene Hi-Glo roof chart, which Resene have chosen for their looks and durability. Aucklanders tend to opt for dark shades, including popular COLORSTEEL® colours like Karaka, Ironsand and Grey Friars. Titania white, see above, is also commonly used.
