The small details shaping how spaces are powered

Electrical fittings are among the details every building depends on, yet they are rarely the elements designers want to draw attention to. Switches, power points and controls need to be accessible and intuitive, but they also sit visibly within interiors, alongside carefully considered materials and finishes.
Legrand’s new INSPYRA® Collection responds to that tension by treating wiring devices as part of the interior rather than an afterthought. Designed for residential and commercial applications across Australia and New Zealand, the collection brings switches, sockets, charging, lighting control and smart functionality together within a consistent range.

The design is deliberately restrained. A slimline profile and floating rocker give the devices a contemporary presence, while a selection of finishes allows them to sit within different interior palettes. Alongside conventional switching and power, the range introduces USB-C charging, smart connectivity and advanced lighting control, extending the collection beyond the basic functions traditionally associated with wiring devices.
That broader functionality reflects how electrical infrastructure is increasingly being integrated into the way spaces are used. INSPYRA with Netatmo adds connected switching and dimming, while the wider collection includes RGBW colour lighting and other solutions designed around more intuitive control.
The practical side of the collection is equally considered. Pre-mounted screws, aligned terminals and easy unclipping mechanisms are designed to simplify installation, bringing the requirements of electricians and installers into the development of the range rather than treating them as a separate concern.
Sustainability is also addressed through the construction and packaging of the collection. Legrand states that 51% of its double power points are made with recycled plastic, while the range uses paper-based packaging and digital product documentation. More than 60% of the collection is manufactured in Australia.

The result is not an attempt to make wiring devices the hero of an interior. Instead, INSPYRA® considers how these unavoidable details can be resolved with enough care that they sit comfortably within the architecture around them.
