This innovative design features a background of woven sisal, onto which the geometric pattern has been embroidered with hessian. Coloured thread contrasts beautifully with the hessian and sisal. Let your gaze linger and you will discover Icarus’s wings in this pattern. This also inspired its name, Alata, which is Latin for winged.
