The artisanal compositions of natural string are carefully laid out by hand and coated with a delicate, semi-transparent plaster. They are then faithfully reproduced in vinyl. The name Tamba was inspired by the Indonesian word Tambalan, meaning ‘plaster’.

Collection inspiration

Tali is the Indonesian word for rope – a name that beautifully conveys the essence of this sophisticated wallpaper collection. Each design in the collection is inspired by the rich textures of different types of rope, carefully selected from Indonesia. The hand-crafted patterns, which draw on artisanal craftsmanship, have been meticulously transposed into a collection of elegant vinyl wall decorations.
