Untreated Blanks

KLC manufactures Untreated Kiln Dried Blanks.

The Untreated Blanks are manufactured from short clear lengths of defect free Radiata.

The Untreated Blanks can be produced on both the horizontal finger-joint line (certified to A55069 Service Class 3), or the vertical mini joint Line. (Certified to A55068 Service Class 3)

The Untreated Blanks can be profiled into products as diverse as Mouldings, Dressed Four Side and Window Reveals etc

Length Specs can be altered to suit individual customer requirements, up to 7.2 metres.

Treated Blanks H3.2

KLC manufactures MicroPro® H3.2 Kiln Dried Blanks. These are manufactured from short clear lengths of defect free Radiata.

The blanks used to produce the MicroPro® H3.2 Kiln Dried Blanks, can only be produced on the vertical mini joint line. (Certified to A55068 Service Class 3)

After finger jointing the Blanks are then treated using the MicroPro® H3.2 Treatment and then Kiln Dried on-site.

The MicroPro® H3.2 Treated Blanks can be used for a variety of exterior applications, including:
• Handrails
• Joinery
• Fascia
• Weatherboards
• D4S

Length Specs can be altered to suit individual customer requirements, up to 7.2 metres.

Appearance Grade Boards

These are available in the following NZ Grade Specifications and as per NZS 3631:1988.
Clears, No 2 Clears and Dressing Grade can be supplied: Untreated KD D4S, Profiled and H3.2 MicroPro® Treated KD D4S or Profiled
These are also available as cut to length (CTL) components.

Grades

CLEARS
Clear on both Faces & Edges and may contain small occasional blemishes.

NO2 CLEARS
Clear on one face and one edge.

DRESSING GRADE
Face may contain up to 3 defects, no more than 30mm on the face. Defect combinations on the back face may total up to 50% of the width of the board.
