French Louis Philippe Gilt Wood Mirror C.1840
French Louis Philippe arch-top, circa 1840s, with gilt frame decorated with central band of etched flower and leaf design, beaded sight edge (edge closest to the glass) and pie crust or wavy outside edge. The original mercury glass has a little age but sparkles wonderfully right across the glass in sunshine or overhead lighting.
