Iconic Cladding has experience installing insulated roofs with Kingspan, Conquer and other panel manufacturers. They are generally called Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs) and consist of an PIR (polyisocyanurate) core with a flat or shallow profiled metal skin to the underside and a trapezoidal skin to the upper side. Insulated panels require careful attention to detail around the eaves and ridges and any penetrations to maintain airtightness. PIR Insulated panels generally have the best thermal performance relative to thickness, compared to built up layered systems, so can meet the new NZBC H1 with less complexity.

We also install flat sandwich PIR panels as a carrier tray for other products to be laid over, such as membrane or profiled metal roofing.

There are a range of insulated panels on the market with a number of insulation cores, some have Factory Mutual (FM) fire testing. FM ratings are required by some insurance companies, depending upon the building type, do your homework.

Iconic Cladding main focuses are customer service and quality workmanship. We have focused on architectural projects, be they residential or commercial, with an element of complexity, be that delivery through phasing or design through detailing and finish.

Iconic Cladding has a strong track record of successfully completing a wide range of reroofing projects, from complex school projects and horticultural buildings to standard residential homes. Our extensive skills and expertise empower us to confidently address a variety of reroofing challenges while upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Iconic Cladding is run by Joe and Sam, who are actively involved in all aspects of the business. We are fortunate to have Colin as our business manager, who runs the office, including pricing and ordering. Przemek, our highly skilled tray roofing expert, manages the tray cladding and high-end products.

We are based in the Tasman region. The majority of our projects are located between Golden Bay and Nelson. However we are willing to travel across New Zealand for truly iconic builds, for specialist installation of custom products. We work with designers to ensure the most complex concepts are completed to the highest of standards.

Iconic Cladding are members of the Roofing Association of New Zealand (RANZ) and comply with their code of practice. In addition we take pride in our customer service and strive to do the best for our clients. We are a family focused business, offering flexibility to our staff around child care.
