Northbeam SG8/SG10 Solid Timber Joists

Introducing the Northbeam SG8/SG10 Solid Timber Joists, crafted from Radiata Pine grown in Northland, designed to meet the highest standards. At our Waipu sawmill, Northpine combines these natural attributes with our ability to manufacture and custom process small batches of timber. This product range is called Northbeam.

  • Standard products are generally available from all merchants throughout New Zealand.
  • Many products are available in lengths up to 7.2m, improving span capacity by up to 30%
  • Available in standard timber sizes to ensure seamless matching with other structural timber members
  • Merchants need only to order the volume of stock required for each job (no slow-moving SKUs left in the yard)
  • Beams are standard sizes, so there’s no need to ‘pack’ timber to achieve sizing requirements (sizing catalog available to download)

Available in:

  • H5 SG8 Beams
  • H5 SG8 Posts
  • F1 Posts (Produced To Order)

About the
Seller

Northpine Ltd is a multi award-winning, privately-owned timber manufacturer based at Waipu, Lower Northland. Northpine was established in 1999 by Keith Reay, Richard Wilson and Bruce Larsen from the rundown assets of the defunct Waipu Timber Company.

Northpine timber products come only from sustainably managed, high density Northern pine forests – because reliable academic research shows that pine grown in the North is stronger, harder and stiffer than anywhere else in New Zealand.
