Mangawhai Shared Path
The impressive new boardwalk parallel to the bridge at Molesworth Drive across the estuary was opened to the public in late August 2023.
It completes a very challenging mission for contractor Fulton Hogan through ‘the summer that never was’!
Watch the video below and listen to project engineer Brett Vermeulen explaining the achievement. This is the second of five phases in KDC’s plan to connect Mangawhai Village with Mangawhai Heads. Northpine supplied all the solid beams, posts and battens for the boardwalk.
