Ombra Rug Collection

Ombra, an immersive experiment with shadow, where objects and the imagination float or even fly. 

The collaboration between cc-tapis and Muller Van Severen was born remotely, from virtual meetings that took place during 2020. From this initial digital introduction, the Belgian duo took a traditional approach to their creative process and began with model-making; experimenting with paper, cardboard and light. By cutting, sticking and photographing, they delicately layered tone and shadow, adding not only multiple dimensions to their design but also to traditional craftsmanship.

The Ombra collection is available in two designs: one monochromatic and the other graphic and multi-colored.
