After having discussions with several architects to undertake our major home renovation, we landed on Ed and Nora because we knew from the moment we met them they would be able to help us translate our vision into reality. Not only are they professional and easy going, they are truly passionate and get involved in every single stage and detail of the project. Importantly, they helped us navigate through speedbumps and were always 'on call' whenever an issue came up. We couldn't have asked for a more attentive and responsive team (including our builders, also recommended through Ed & Nora) particularly in circumstances where we had never done any home renovations before and weren't quite sure what to expect.

I am very happy that you felt good about the house. Both Alex Yu of Arcadian and yourself have been a great help in getting my dream home built and I really enjoy staying in the house. The minimalist design gives the house a very clean look. With most the interior finished in white and a glass enclosed courtyard, the house is bright and cosy, I feel relax and happy everytime I walk into the house. The high ceiling of the living and master bedroom gives me an unrestricted feeling and a freer mind. The full height glass screen facing the natural reserve offer me a feeling that I am living in nature and it feels great. A 17 m long lap pool running along the house offer me an opportunity to exercise without leaving the house.  

We completed a major renovation of our inner west cottage with Ed and Nora. We found them friendly, creative and responsive, from our initial meeting through to post completion. Ed listened to what we wanted. He offered us both practical and design ideas that were incorporated into the final design. They allowed us to be as involved in the process as we wanted. They partnered effectively with the builder to resolve on-site issues and were agile in managing the unforeseen challenges posed by the pandemic and lockdowns.

In terms of fixtures and interior materials Nora had a good network of contacts for suppliers and products. She provided us with knowledgeable guidance that took into account our tastes and budget. The end result is that we a home we love and that meets our needs. We have no hesitation in either working with them again or recommending them to others.
