Our Process

Our products are sustainably crafted to be enduring and of the highest quality. The use of solid timber is no coincidence, our team of experienced makers has been working with timber for over 35 years. With a deep understanding of the material, our makers handcraft contemporary and high-quality pendants from solid timber. Driven by a love for the craft, our makers create unique lighting which showcases the natural variations of Australian hardwood timbers.

We have a select range of popular timber options and are able to source custom timber species if required for a client‘s project. Our most popular timber species include White Oak, Spotted Gum, Victorian Ash, and Tasmanian Blackwood. Our designs incorporate both LED strip lighting and LED globes, and are assembled by us in our Currumbin workshop.

We craft thoughtfully Australian Made lighting from beautiful, locally sourced solid timber. We have been working with timber for over 35 years and our small team of designers and woodworkers love to craft unique timber lighting pieces using both traditional and innovative woodworking techniques. We try to highlight the uniqueness of every piece of timber while respecting the material and ensuring our timber lighting is made using sustainable practices. We are honoured to craft our bespoke lighting designs and to see them in the homes of Australians who value quality and support Australian Made products and local design.

Our Australian Made Lighting range is designed to be an architectural LED lighting feature in residential and commercial interiors. The minimalist designs of our linear pendants make them the perfect functional statement piece to be hung over kitchen islands, dining tables, or workspaces and offices. We have also expanded our collection to include a range of timber sconces, and timber lamp holder designs. Like our popular linear timber lighting range, our sconces, pendants, and lamp holders feature customisable timber, cord colours, solid metal or powder-coated finishes, and LED colour temperature. The expanding collection has been intentionally designed to be versatile in your space and is recommended for use in bedrooms, lounge rooms, hallways or to compliment your existing linear pendant. With many bespoke lighting and timber options, our designs are able to be matched well with existing interiors or may be crafted to suit a new build or renovation. How do I place an order online?

Browse our lighting collection here. On the product page, select the specifications you prefer and click Add to Cart. Click on View Cart you will be transferred to the checkout page. Purchases through our website will require either a full payment or a 30% deposit payment, via a secure credit card checkout. Can I Place an Order with A Deposit

Yes! We can accept a 30% deposit to confirm an order. The balance payment will need to be paid before your pendant is dispatched. If you would like to order with a deposit please choose this option at the checkout page. If you would prefer to place an order directly please e-mail us at sales@fluxwoodlighting.com and we will go through your order details with you. We will then email you an order confirmation and invoice and you can pay via direct debit.

How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Within Australia – We offer free freight within Australia. Everywhere Else – For international shipping please contact us for a freight quote before ordering.

By joining our trade program you have access to great support, timber samples and our trade pricing.

We will review your registration and apply the trade discount to your account. Please note, to be eligible for an account, you will need to be considered a genuine trade customer working within the construction industry.
