Our Structured Building Process
HDMB follow a structured building process developed from years of experience. We will provide real-time updates of our project schedule as we progress. This allows you to follow the job, see items as they are completed and take note of upcoming stages. Construction stages are scheduled and completed in a specific order ensuring a trouble-free process.

Affiliations and Licencing
HDMB are members of the Housing Industry Association. We follow a strict code of conduct in line with industry standards, the Building Code of Australia and the National Construction Code. Our affiliation with the HIA ensures we are kept abreast of all code changes and regulatory updates. Our team have the constant training and are regularly informed of evolving construction methods and market product trends. You will have access to the most recent products available to the market. HDMB are fully licenced builders.

Compliance
HDMB have a stringent Work Health Safety and Environmental System, have full Product and Public Liability Insurance and ensure all our team and subcontractors are licenced, experienced and fully insured. HDMB will work with Council and private certifiers to ensure all critical stage inspections and certifications are met. We offer peace of mind that no compliance issues will arise during or after your project is completed.

Initial Consultation
We take the time to meet with you on-site to discuss your requirements, needs, budgets and construction options.

Design and Approvals
Depending on your stage of readiness we will advise of your next steps. HDMB work closely with a number of Architects, Engineers, Consultants and Certifiers and can assist or refer as required. HDMB has extensive knowledge of local council regulations and approval processes.

Quotation and Contracts
We will work with you to ensure all options have been considered and all specifications and finishes have been selected. We can now prepare a preliminary quotation for you based on your design, the project site and all selected inclusions. Contracts are then prepared for you to sign. HDMB uses industry-standard HIA contracts. This ensures all compliance and regulations are met from the onset.

Planning
The commencement date is now set. HDMB will issue you access to our online project portal where you will follow the schedule, view due dates for owner-supplied items, checklists and details of all works and critical stages.

Construction
HDMB now assume responsibility for your site. Regular project schedule updates are communicated, and site meetings are encouraged. We recommend a weekly meeting on-site with you. This gives us the opportunity to demonstrate progress and discuss all items face to face on a weekly basis.

Completion and Handover
A detailed inspection is carried with you 10 days prior to hand over. This ensures any minor issues are addressed prior to completion and occupation. At handover, you will be issued with keys, manuals, warranties and a walk through with us to answer any questions you may have.

Our ongoing commitment
HDMB will provide and commit to a 90 day maintenance period following hand over. We are happy to attend to any minor requests as you settle into your new home.  HDMB also offer a full 6-year structural warranty on all works.

On-time, defect free delivery
HDMB guarantee an on-time and defect-free delivery of your project. Our scheduling is realistic and is based on years of experience. Your project will be completed on time and on budget. As part of our quality control system, we will schedule a detailed walkthrough of the job site with you, 10 days prior to hand over. Any items noted as requiring attention will be addressed prior to our completion date and the handover meeting, our defect-free delivery promise.

Maintenance
Your home will be delivered defect-free, however, HDMB honours a 90-day maintenance period for any minor items or adjustments which need attention as you settle into your new home. HDMB honours a full 6-year structural warranty.

Communication
Communication is key to a successful project. You will be invited to participate in our online project management system where you will receive live updates, progress schedules, upcoming selections and regular correspondence as we progress. We also encourage frequent site meetings with you to discuss progress, upcoming stages and to answer any questions you may have during the build. We will keep you informed of critical stage inspections and any meetings held with relevant consultants, engineers, architects and certifiers.

Materials and Products
We only use premium materials and products from reputable suppliers. We understand that there is no substitute for quality. All fittings, fixtures, materials and consumables used on your project have been tried and tested and endorsed by the building industry, and by us.
