We engaged MM+J Architects to renovate two bathrooms and a combined laundry and powder room. The result shows all the elements of good design. The dated, twenty-year-old layout was transformed with modern, clean lines, up-to-date bathroom furniture, and state-of-the-art lighting.

We are especially pleased with the frameless glass shower screens and mirrored bathroom cabinets set flush into the wall. As for the guest toilet and wash-hand basin, they sit naturally beside the laundry tub, washer and dryer as if they were always meant to coexist.

David of MM+J Architects looked after us from designing, planning, coordinating building, and finishing off our apartment. Our project was a challenge as it's a small space but we love how our space has been revitalised. Our makeover makes our 50m2 space totally liveable. People can't believe it is the same apartment. Our new space is modern, practical, and beautiful. We love it, it looks like it came out of a magazine.

David McCrae's skill and innovative ideas transformed my small 1960s apartment to a contemporary and functional space which now takes full advantage of its aspect and harbour views. David handled all stages of the project - Design Development, Building Management Approval, Tender Process, Works SupervisIon, Contract Administration to my entire satisfaction. He also was receptive to my ideas and maintained good working relationships with the Builder, Interior Designer and Building Management throughout the project.

When we engaged David McCrae of MM+J Architects we were looking forward to seeing what could be achieved with our 60 year old timber cottage, my childhood home. David quickly got across our brief and reimagined our home to reflect our specific needs and desires.
