Our Story
It’s safe to say we’ve been around the block when it comes to all things electrical.

With a combined 35 years’ local and international experience in the industry both on the tools and as project managers, we’ve just about seen it all.

We’ve been great mates for many years, our personal values and aspirations align. Building a business that reflects this has always been important to us and these values are ingrained in every interaction we have with customers and every job we take, no matter the size.

Plus, we flat out love what we do.

For us, it’s all about the pride and satisfaction we get from exceeding not only our customers’ expectations but also our own. As well as this, our work is generally on show, so it’s all about perfection. Do it once – do it right.

Given how intertwined our lives have been over the years, having worked, lived and travelled together, it probably comes as no surprise that we share many of the same passions outside of our work.

We’re both renovation junkies, sports fanatics and amongst all of this, we’re bringing up young families who are a major inspiration for the success of our business.

Where are we?
XP Electrical is based in Hamilton, but we travel right across the Waikato to Cambridge, Te Awamutu, Otorohanga, Huntly, Ngaruawahia, Waihi, Matamata, Morrinsville, Raglan, Tokoroa and beyond.
