Essen Engineering proudly presents the Hollands Strengthening Project, a testament to our expertise in structural strengthening. This project involves enhancing the current building, which houses small offices and a plumbing warehouse, through the addition of braced frames to the existing steel portal frames. The lateral system comprises gable portal steel frames in the transverse direction and partially filled concrete masonry units shear walls in the longitudinal direction.
Our team worked diligently on a seismic strengthening scheme, following a detailed DSA, to elevate the building's rating to over 80% NBS. This enhancement not only ensures the safety and stability of the structure but also improves its overall performance.
