Nestled amongst the trees on Auckland’s North Shore, the home of Designer Wardrobe founder Donielle Brooke and partner Blair Konik reflects their love of intentional, minimalist design. Their two-bedroom unit is filled with natural light and layered with soft tones, textures, and timeless finishes, creating a calm and inviting retreat.

Flooring was one of the most impactful upgrades in their renovation journey. The couple first refreshed their bedrooms with Wools of New Zealand Fernvale carpet in Glenquoich, chosen for its softness, warmth, and sustainable credentials. Crafted from 100% New Zealand wool, the carpet offered a natural, durable solution while supporting local industry and environmentally responsible practices.

When a small flood later forced them to replace their living area flooring, Donielle and Blair turned to Quick-Step Perspective Nature laminate in Brushed Oak Natural. The water-resistant, hard-wearing laminate delivered both practicality and beauty, with tones that shift subtly in different light to complement their interiors.
