From pitched gabled roofs to sky-high raked ceilings with exposed timber beams, the home’s structure immediately delivers on the grandeur. The entrance alone, with its double-height ceilings and dual statement staircases leading to a mezzanine, sets the tone for what lies within.

Innovative Use of Intrim Mouldings

Intrim’s architectural timber mouldings feature extensively throughout the home, playing a key role in defining the sophisticated modern farmhouse aesthetic. Rather than serving as simple finishing touches, the mouldings have been used creatively to build texture, impact, and cohesion across the expansive interiors.

Intrim WB01 wall battens are used in imaginative ways throughout, from a square grid pattern in the soaring entryway and master bedroom, to a vertical ¾ height application in deep blue in the guest room. In the hallways, half-height wainscoting creates a sense of flow and design continuity, while SK1474 skirting and architraves paired with SB03 skirting blocks enhance transitions and bring a refined edge to every room.

Entertaining at Every Turn

The Morley 2.0 is a home designed to welcome, entertain, and wow. One wing of the house is dedicated entirely to recreation. There’s a ‘man cave’ like no other — complete with a full bar and beer on tap, home cinema, arcade games, a pool table on the mezzanine, and even a full-size bowling alley. The space is bold and immersive, featuring deep, blue-toned walls and ceilings adorned with Intrim’s WB01 wall battens for a moody, textured atmosphere.

A giant, custom spray-painted mural of rhinos on the main wall anchors the space, adding to the theatrical, immersive feel — a design decision deeply personal to both Cassy and Jarrod.

Style That Grows with Family

What began as a plan before children, evolved alongside the family. From fur babies to toddlers, the home has adapted and grown. Even the family’s three black Labradors have their own dedicated doggy nook beneath the stairs — framed in leftover Intrim wall battens, skirting, and skirting blocks for a custom, heartwarming touch.

Upstairs, a serene nursery inspired by The Lion King features a full mural wall above board and batten wainscoting. Again, Intrim mouldings bring character and storytelling to the fore, helping create spaces full of memory and meaning.
