A Modern Masterpiece enhanced by Switch Lighting

This project showcases how Switch Lighting’s innovative solutions can transform a modern architectural masterpiece into a beautifully lit, functional living space that harmonises with its stunning surroundings. The result is a functionally lit home with an elegant and comforting ambiance.

Lighting Design Concept

Throughout the property, the architectural range of Switch Lighting luminaires is controlled by the DALI smart lighting control system. The architect, in close collaboration with Switch Lighting Consultants and the lighting design team, crafted a design that perfectly aligns with the owner’s vision. The strategic placement of various Switch Lighting ultra-low glare products on the outer perimeter of each space across the two-level home created a uniquely lit environment. This approach highlights the architectural elements and natural materials while preventing reflections on the full-frontal glass walls, ensuring the extraordinary view over Tasman Bay remains unobstructed.

The Zela décor Pendant was specified in the kitchen. The utlra stylish black trim/black inner Zela décor Pendants are suspended above the kitchen island, providing focused illumination. The back bench is lit with black Zela Tilt luminaires installed directly into the cabinetry for a cohesive and modern look.

The Switch Lighting Cirro Ceiling Washer was installed in the Media Room. These luminaires were specified for indirect lighting, spreading light up and across the ceiling to gently illuminate the room, creating a cosy yet functional atmosphere.

Bedrooms, Hallways, and Stairwell are illuminated with the Zela Deep Tilts. With a slim trim for a minimalist and modern design, and a deep recess for low glare, these luminaires provide the perfect lighting solution throughout the home.
