Protecting the style of this stunning Avondale villa, the job was to modernise and freshen the entire interior, seamlessly blending old with new. The challenge while important to keep the authenticity of the villa intact, the key was to open up the living space and improve the indoor-outdoor flow. This included modernising the existing kitchen and bathroom, replacing the majority of the old windows with bi-fold doors, and refurbishing the original skirtings and architraves back to original. The result is a stunning open plan fresh contemporary space with all original villa features enhanced.
