The Arch & Scallop house sits near the surfing mecca of Bell’s Beach. The brief was simple, “design something we haven’t seen before”. With no fear of colour or pattern, this family home bears little resemblance to most coastal abodes; it is utilitarian, hard wearing and strikingly beautiful.
Finer Details
The contrasting forms of the linear Cali pull and circular Osaka cupboard knob create further visual interest, a testament to the detailed approach to design. With functionality as critical as individuality within this project, the solid forged brass cabinetware is reassuring and hard-wearing; serving form and function. The distinct Bronzed Brass finish further complements the timber elements and deep tonal palette, offering moments of subtlety and refinement.
