Welcome to the Arvida Wellness Centre, a project that embodies the true essence of community and well-being. From the moment you step foot into this state-of-the-art facility, you'll be greeted with a sense of tranquillity and rejuvenation. Our team at Gravitas Consulting Ltd has put their hearts and souls into the full design and construction of this wellness centre, ensuring that every detail is crafted to perfection.

Featuring a swimming pool, cafe, and a centre for wellness complete with an age care facility for retirees, the Arvida Wellness Centre is a place where people of all ages can come together and enjoy the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Built using Abodo timber throughout, the entire building is not only functional but also accessible to everyone who walks through its doors.

With various businesses set up within the premises, the Arvida Wellness Centre is more than just a building; it's a community hub where individuals can connect, relax, and share the space.

About the
Professional

The team at Gravitas is led by James McCondach (B.Arch/NZCD.Arch) and we have been working in architecture and project management for commercial, industrial, retail and residential developments in New Zealand for over 20 years.

Although our primary contribution is the architectural discipline, our offering can include undertaking a one-stop shop role of head consultancy in managing the full design and documentation solution - including contract administration and project management as required.

We have extensive experience in:

  • Managing developments from the sketch design stage
  • Master planning through subdivision
  • Siteworks and civil works
  • Resource consent
  • Building consent
  • Construction

We have taken on these roles for small and large projects to the value of $50 million. This is something that we both enjoy and are well equipped for and this gives the client continuity throughout the whole project.
